Nishi Site Sustainable Development Plan

The Nishi Property is an existing greenfield site in Davis, CA. The design was proposed to create a student housing for UC Davis attendees. The overarching vision for the site and proposed design is in keeping with the themes of the UC Davis Arboretum, each housing development groupings center around plantings from one of six vegetative collections in the Arboretum. Each housing grouping also boasts communal outdoor space, highlighting the main plants in each collection and extending the Arboretum ideals of community access to nature.
